Saeed Ayyash is a Jerusalemite resident of Silwan, south of al-Aqsa Mosque compound. He works in the translation and analysis of Hebrew press and publication contents at the Palestinian Forum for Israeli Studies (MADAR). He is one of the veteran journalists and the founders of the Journalists Syndicate in Jerusalem in 1978 (formerly the Arab Journalists Association). He is the father of the shaheed Milad Ayyash.

The Sa'eed Ayyash Collection includes family photographs of the Palestinian Ayyash family from the late 1950s until the early twenty-first century, which express the nature of Palestinian daily life and document the family's banquets and travels. The collection also features photographs of the shaheed Milad Ayyash.
