Yousef al-Qutob is a Palestinian photojournalist, who joined the photography section of the Palestinian News and Information Agency “WAFA” between 1973 and 1974. Since then, he worked as a war photographer, documenting the Lebanese Civil War and the Israeli war on the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon from 1975 until the departure of the Palestine Liberation Organisation leadership from Lebanon in 1981.

The Yousef al-Qutob Collection documents different stages of the Palestinian Question, as he was interested in filming and documenting the activities of the Palestinian freedom fighters in Lebanon, such as their military training and revolution celebrations on the anniversary of the Launch in Beirut 1979. The collection contains photographs of the Palestinian refugee camps there and the wounded in the 1982 Lebanese Civil War, as well as photographs of the work of the Samed Foundation, and others taken during the Second Intifada in 2000, documenting the violations of the Israeli Occupation and their attacks on Palestinian cities and homes. It includes scenes of military points of the Israeli Occupation Forces in the West Bank and the suffering of the Palestinians. It also covers the 2015 Outburst.
