BIOGRAPHY

Born in Anbata, located in Tulkarm District, in 1913, Abdulrahim Mahmoud was a Palestinian revolutionary and poet, who wrote political poems, the most famous of which is "Ash-Shaheed". He participated in the Palestine Great Rebellion 1936-39 and the 1948 War, and was killed near the village of al-Shajara in northern Palestine on 13 July 1948.

DESCRIPTION

The collection contains photographs and documents of the poet Abdulrahim Mahmoud. The photographs include personal photographs of him at different stages of life, and others of him with his professors and fellow students at the an-Najah National School in Nablus. As for the documents, they include invitations to attend poetry evenings and festivals, letters, clippings from newspapers containing his poems, and various books dedicated to him.
