Mohammad Saleh Alawi is a Palestinian Sharia and legal lawyer from the village of Deir Jarir, located in Ramallah District, and a resident of Jerusalem. He worked as a tithe tax collector during the Ottoman era in the Ramallah area and was elected a member of the Supreme Islamic Council in 1926.
