Mohammad Saleh Alawi is a Palestinian Sharia and legal lawyer from the village of Deir Jarir, located in Ramallah District, and a resident of Jerusalem. He worked as a tithe tax collector during the Ottoman era in the Ramallah area and was elected a member of the Supreme Islamic Council in 1926.

The Sheikh Mohammad Saleh Alawi Collection contains several documents related to his work as a lawyer in Jerusalem, including a license to practice law, the receipts of the licenses for the practice of law and for the tithe tax, where Sheikh Alawi worked as a tithing officer in the Ramallah area, the results of the Supreme Islamic Council elections that lead to his election as a member of the Council, an issue from the official Palestine Government Gazette and another from al-Huqooq Magazine, some books on the principles of handling money, a summary of economic books, and the primary atlas.
