Found in Nidal abu Aker Collection, this colour photograph is one of a set of photographs documenting the social and political life in Dheisheh Palestinian Camp. The photograph shows the residents of Dheisheh Camp gathering outside the abu Aker family shelter to welcome back Muhammad abu Aker as he returns from a treatment trip to the United States due to a gunshot to his abdomen, as a result of which he became a shaheed later in 1990.
