"The Clown", Play, Muhammad al-Maghut, al-Kasaba
Taken in 1994 at al-Kasaba Theatre and Cinematheque in Ramallah, this colour photograph captures a freeze of Muhammad al-Maghut's play, "The Clown". Directed by Makram Khury, the play ran also in al-Kasaba Theatre in Jerusalem as well as in Galilee and Jordan. The play featured a cast of actors, including Muhammad al-Bakry, Ghassan ʿabbas, George Ibrahim, ʿamer Khalil, ʿarin ʿumary, Husam abu ʿaysha, Khalid al-Maṣu, and Mahmud ʿawad.
