"The Dwarf and the Miller's Daughter", Paly, al-Kasaba
Taken in 1995, this colour photograph shows the second production of al-Kasaba Theatre and Cinematheque's children theatre show, "The Dwarf and the Miller's Daughter". Written by George Ibrahim and directed by Ḍirar Sulayman, the play earned the first prize of the Arab Theatre Festival in Haifa in 1995. The cast of the play included George Ibrahim, Jackie Ayyoub, Muhammad ʿawad, ʿawad, Bassam Zuʿmut, Jamal Saʿid, Ahmad abu Salʿum, Husam abu ʿaysha, Niriman Manṣur, Khalid al-Maṣu, Mahmud abu ash-Sheikh, Amira Habash, ʿizzat an-Natsheh, Munther Banura, Auay az-Zubaydy, Ghantus Ghantus, and Lulla Ziyada.
