Tickets to the Play "Lamma Injannaina" (When We Went Insane), a Production by Ṣunduq al-‘Ajab (Magic Box) Troupe, 1970s
Printed in Arabic, these tickets are for the play "Lamma Injannaina" (When We Went Insane) which was the sole production by Ṣunduq al-‘Ajab (Magic Box) Troupe. The play was performed only a handful of times before the arrest of its leading actor, Muṣtafa al-Kurd. Despite the troupe finding an understudy for the role, the shows were cancelled. The play explored political and social concepts using simple and colloquial language and a popular approach. The tickets include the name of the troupe and the play, a few keywords related to the play, and a short introductory sentence addressed to the ticket's owner.
