A Letter from the Education Inspector to Hafeẓ al-Khatib
Handwritten in Arabic in 1936, this document shows a letter from the education inspector of Samira to Hafeẓ al-Khatib regarding the renewal of his contract as a teacher. It's said that the British Mandate divided the educational areas in Palestine into four divisions (Galilee, as-Samira, South Jerusalem, and Hebron) where each division had an inspector assigned by the Ministry of Education.
