A Paper Clipping Documenting the Names of the Iraqi Shaheeds, The Nakba, 1948

A paper clipping featuring some of the names of the Iraqi shaheeds and the battles that caused their death during The Nakba in 1948, and they are Major Taleb Jasem el-ʿazawy, and First Lieutenant Muhamad Yaʿqub, and Major-Pilot Abd-el-Qader abdullah; as they have passed away during the battles of "Kawkab el-Hawa" and the battle of "Gesher".  Gesher is a Zionist based fort built on the settlement of Gesher that was constructed in the West Bank to the Jordan River. The Iraqi Army fought fiercely during one of the most significant battle against zionists.  And it is worth to mention that the "Gesher's Fort" is one of Eden's Line established by the English in order to track down the German Army during World War One.   Taleb Jasem el-ʿazawy was the leader of the Brigade which occupied Kawkab el-Hawa so that they can maintain protection for the rest of the Iraqi Army that was already busy liberating Gesher.
