Taken in 2017, this colour photograph shows a freeze of the theatrical performance of "Qiṣaṣ Min Zaman al-Khuyul al-Baydaʾ [Time of White Horses]" at the Ramallah Cultural Palace Theatre. Based on Palestinian author Ibrahim Naṣrallah's book of the same title, the play talks about the Ottoman Rule and Ẓahir al-Umar al-Zaydani in Palestine. Produced and directed by Fathy Abder-Rahman, the play features dance moves by Muhammad Ata, music by Abdel-Halim abu Haltam, and actors include Hussein Nakhleh, Maysaʾ al-Khatib, Jamil as-Sayeh, Rabah al-Kaluny, Muhammad abu Azizeh, Mahmud Tmaileh, Murad Wadiʿ, Muhammad Zbaidy, Uday al-Juʿbeh, Ubayda Ṣalah, Muhamamd Masharqa, Lara Naṣṣar, Marah Yasin, Razan al-Khatib, and Umar abu ʿĀmer.
