A Letter from the Ramallah Municipal Council to the Scoutmaster of Sareyyet Ramallah, 13 July 1964
Dated 13 July 1964, this letter, printed in black ink in Arabic, sealed with the blue stamp of the Ramallah Municipality, was sent from Nadim Zaru, mayor of Ramallah, to the scoutmaster of the Ramallah First Group (Sareyyet Ramallah). The correspondence expresses appreciation for the societal contribution of Sareyyet Ramallah’s first scout summer camp, particularly, the assistance in paving a street in Ramallah. The letter of gratitude is ended with a closing greeting to Hussein ibn Talal, King of Jordan and the West Bank (1952-67).
