Hejar al-Shoubaki's Interview with the Palestinian Museum, 'Never Part' Exhibition, 2013
This video clip documents Hejar al-Shoubaki's interview with the Palestinian Museum as part of the "Never Part" project. Through this project, the museum aimed to collect narratives related to cherished and profoundly significant belongings preserved by Palestinians, which serve as epitomes of their connection to their homeland. Al-Shoubaki has preserved an issue of the ad-Difaa Arabic Daily Newspaper issued on 21 November 1947 which was the issue which published the news of her father, brother, and cousins murder after the Jewish mob 'Lehi' executed them in their village in the Akka district under the pretext that they were from the British army.
