A Letter Addressed to the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, 16 May 2001
Printed in Arabic, this letter is addressed to the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Metri abu Atteyyeh, where it clarifies that the land on which a request is submitted for construction is the archaeological land of Khirbet Hamid on which construction is not permitted. The committee that was formed confirmed the decision to ban construction on the mentioned site under Antiquities Law No. 51 of 1966, and the letter explains the reasons for the decision to ban construction.
