"Al-Butula", a Poem by Rajih al Salfeety
A two-page poem entitled "Al-Butula (literally means heroism)". Written during the First Intifada, the poem deals with the sacrifice and the heroic acts of Palestinians of all ages by stressing the importance of shaheeddom and the honorability and valor of shaheeds. The poet also included a harmony from ʻabd al-Rahim Mahmud's poetry to show his support of Palestinians and their struggle against the Israeli Occupation.
