Adel Tartir's Workshop in Ramallah
This photograph shows Adel Tartir’s workshop, which is located in the basement of his house in the “Batin al-Hawa” neighbourhood in Ramallah, where he used it for all his works, including the Wonder Boxes, since March 1977, that is, before he was taken to the current headquarters of the “Wonder Box Theatre” in late 2003 in Ramallah, which he described it as the place that includes the archive of all his works of posters, pictures and sculptures, and Tartir indicates that this workshop has a certain aesthetic, even if it is narrow and crowded. The photograph also shows some of the characters that caught the attention of Tartir as they have longer moustaches than him, as well as his handcrafted woodwork for his Wonder Box.
