A Scene from "Qaraqoush Wal Musiqa" Play, Ramallah, 1998
Taken on the stage of the al-Siraj Theatre in Ramallah in 1998, this photograph shows Adel Tartir playing the role of "Qaraqoush, the ruler" in the "Qaraqoush Wal Musiqa (Qaraqoush and Music)" play during a scene, which was produced and directed by Fathi Abderrahman, who asked Tartir to play the role after the play came to be as a product of a workshop. Its first show was on the stage of the al-Siraj Theatre.
