Taken on the Palestinian National Theatre- el-Hakawati stage in Jerusalem in 1999, this photograph shows a scene from the "Al-Shay' (The Thing)" play, directed by Yaqoub Ismail, derived from the "Al-Shayʼ al-Akhar (The Other Thing)" novel by Ghassan Kanafani, produced in cooperation with the el-Hakawati Theatre in Jerusalem and included Adel Tartir as a cast member.
