A Scene from "Nashrat Ahwal al-Jaw" Play, Ramallah, August 1973

Produced and directed in 1972 by the "Balaleen (Balloons)" troupe, this photograph shows one of the scenes from the play "Nashrat Ahwal al-Jaw (The Weather Forecast)" and in it, respectively, are -right to left- Jabr al-Zubaidi, followed by Adel Tartir, followed by Rabah abu Shtayyeh wearing a white undershirt, standing in front of him is Majid al-Mani and in the back stands Majid al-Kurd, while in the last back row stands Emile Ashrawi and in the front stands Mustafa al-Kurd stroking his chin and to his right is Yaser Sam'an, then Walid Abdssalam, followed by Nadia Mikhail, while the young Mike al-Masis is standing in front of her on the municipal stage in Ramallah City Hall, which was not fully ready at the time. It is noteworthy that this play was originally called “The Weather Forecast at Casino Neetsalaf”, where the last word refers to “Falasteen (Palestine)”, but in reverse, and its name was later shortened. However, this show was presented on the sidelines of the "Palestinian Theater and Folklore" festival in August 1973 and lasted for a whole month.
