A Scene from the "Ras Roos" Play, 1980
This photograph shows Adel Tartir during a performance of the "Ras Roos (Head of Heads)" play with the "soldier" puppet, while in the back, the square-headed puppet that represents the "bourgeois factory owner" character shows. This play is considered the first "monodrama" in the history of the Palestinian theatre movement, made by "The Wonder Box Theatre" and written, acted and directed by Adel Tartir in June 1980.
