Issues 3 and 4 of al-Jadeed Magazine, March and April 1976
The third and fourth issues of al-Jadeed Magazine, March and April 1976, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture established in 1951, supervised by its first editor, Hanna Naqqara, and printed at the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa. The cover included a picture of one of the popular demonstrations in farewell to the shaheeds of Earth Day, 30 March 1976, and an article by Saliba Khamis titled Zionism and the land, three poems by Fadwa Toukan, excerpts from Samih al-Qasim's poetry, a dialogue with Nizar Qabbani, an article by Ibrahim Malik on Arab agriculture in Israel, a story by Ahmad Nathim and another by Maya Danini, which was translated by Afif Salah Salem, and an illumination of the play “When We Went Mad” presented by the Sondouq al-Ajab Troupe.
