Interview with Wadha al-Jabareen, Protecting Cultural Heritage of Palestinians in Masafer Yatta Project, 5 July 2019
This video documents the interview Khalil Makhamreh conducted with Wadha Salim al-Jabareen at the Janba area as part of the Protecting Cultural Heritage of Palestinians in Masafer Yatta Project, where she talks about her work in making dairy products and how each is made, as well as how some food is made with dairy products including grits, Mansaf and tortilla-like bread. She also speaks of the story of their expulsion from their land for the first time in 1949, the harassment they suffer nowadays by the Israeli Occupation Forces and settlers and the attempts to forcibly exile and displace them. It is worth mentioning that the Project was executed by the Centre for Trust Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University in Britain in cooperation with the Palestinian Museum and Dar al-Kalima University.
